Welcome to Pro Football Spotlight, a site that attempts to bring the football fan a more in-depth analysis of each play. Each week PFS breaks down the film of every AFC West football team and brings the fan a more thorough analysis than any other fan blog around. Did you miss all the line play that went on during the game because you were watching the running back? Well, now you can get the in-depth analysis of all the battles during each and every play.
Pro Football Spotlight was born out of Bewsaf’s (pen name of Darrin Schick) desire to bring the fan a clearer picture as to what was going on down in the trenches, the battle ground for the offensive line. That desire to “spotlight” the offensive line has now grown into the pro football blog that you see today.
We at Pro Football Spotlight will continue to improve and provide the fan with accurate film analysis. And with a lot of help from Travis Pflanz, we will continue to provide an attractive and fan friendly web page. We hope you enjoy Pro Football Spotlight and find the information as enlightening and exciting as it is to compile.

FAMILY: I have a wife and two children (girl & boy) that I love dearly.
Past Football experience: I have coached the offensive and defensive lines, backs, quarterbacks, linebackers, and defensive backs for a number of high school programs. I have also held the positions of defensive coordinator and head coach at the high school level.
I started writing for Arrowhead Pride in the 2009 season and posted articles like you see on PFS and other types of writing like these: The K.C. Cog That Is Helping the Chiefs Offensive Machine Run, A.P. Fanz Diagnosed with Mock Draft Orgasmic Disorder (satire), The Good Citizen, and The Kansas City Chiefs are Taking Applications (humor).
The thing I enjoyed most when I coached was the tactical aspect of the sport. The prep work, the film analysis, all the chess games. Maybe that is why I enjoy writing the film breakdown articles as much as I do.
